Lonesome High School Graduation

Today, my high school graduation ceremony was held:

And I just realized how empty my high school life has been- I didn't have many friends to cheer me on once I got my diploma. I didn't have many companions to take photos with as we wear our cap and gown.

Tis one of my greatest regrets- for it totally will affect my college life, and my communication skills.

Well, that makes one more story to describe how the life of poor-decision-making-Tu goes.

I sorta know the feeling.  There were few people who came up to me and congratulated me at the graduation reception.  I didn't have that many friends.  However, you always have a change to redefine yourself in college.  Don't take things for granted this time around:)

gah. I know exactly how you feel. when i first moved to my new high school sophmore year  i totally hated it there and i didnt' fit in because i was from the city. soo as a result i didn't make too many new friends. I had like one friend literally in high school. therefore i felt like i had no social skills at all. but when I went to college i was really amazed. I made some really great friends and things for me have really switched around. instead of feeling sad and lonely i'm now content and happy. trust me things in college will be different..people there want friends just as much as you do. and they'll be just as lost lol so just put yourself out there =]

sorry that was such a novel haha i  just really get where you're coming from.

LOL, no worries, I didn't fit in either in HS. I didn't belong in the Drama Crew, I wasn't in band, and many of the band people were sleeping w/each other. The nerdy people talked computer games but I had a 10year old computer at the time. I was in Government, but nobody else had passion to improve the school like I did. Being in sports was something I had in common w/fellow teammates, but that's as far as it went. Of the people I did hang with, most of them are pseudo christians, and it bugged me that they were neither religious nor not. I didn't really care for 10year reunion, and nothing changed: they were loud, acted immature, used foul language, and drank excessively... all things that my college friends do not do. I'm thankful for college friends, and my grad school friends were even better, maybe cuz we had a common goal and similar backgrounds. No worries, You'll love your college friends. Plus, with the increased freedom you'll have, you'll meet more people, increasing the chances of having a quality friend.
